Go on.
:-)
I've decided to tell the recruitment agency that they can go spin, from now on Tarrant finds his own work!
(or sits in bed watching films all day and continues to reciebe free money from all you tax payers out there! Cheers guys :-) )
It was certainly strange seeing Pacino in a role such as Lefty, especially after seeing ScarFace the previous day!
As I said, it was good, but not as good as some I've seen. I was a bit knackered after my drama evening as well, so maybe I'll watch it again in a couple of weeks, and see what I think then.
Anyway, why aren't you at work!?
:-)
Not really :-)
Fair enough if you didn't rate it! It's one of my favourites but that might be because I knew (roughly) of the story about agent Joseph D. Pistone codename: Donnie Brasco, before the film came out. So it was quite interesting for me. Plus, I thought Pacino not playing the hard-man anti-hero man at the top was interesting. Pacino as "Lefty" was a very interesting role I thought.
But hey... if you thought it was pants, thats your loss
:-)
Donnie Brasco had a distinct advantage over the rest in my

But that doesn't make it a "better" story though, does it?
I just... I dunno, I can't really put my finger on it, but there was just something about it that didn't make me think "Yeah! This is fantastic!" Like some films have in the past.
I know that's a bit vague, sorry...

Donnie Brasco had a distinct advantage over the rest in my eyes, in that its a true story!
but my

Dunno about that mate.
I think Goodfellas is slightly better, but only by the *tiniest* margin.
ScarFace is a damn fine film, that was a good purchase by me on saturday, well impressed.
"Say hello to ma leedle fren'"
What a top,top movie.
Brian De Palma has been sinking like a lead heavy thing lately, but my lord if Scarface doesn't rule the gangster world.
