Go on.
The previous personal best was Goodfellows. Took six attempts to watch that.
Goodfellas.....not goodfellows. lol :-)
Anyway I watched Vertical Limit on Sunday and I was not impressed. It was unbelievably predicatable and too much of it was too similar to Cliffhanger.
And do you think that Bill Paxton realises he is a joke? My brother said that to me as we were watching it and it's true. I like him because he is funny but he is actually a joke. Should he have taken the role in True Lies that he did? It certainly boosted his career but at the same time it also ruined it.
I also watched Enemy at the Gates last night. I remember it got slated by the critics so I never went to see it but now I wish I had done. It was good and it would have been better at the cinema. There were some really ammusing sniper shots as well.
DON'T READ THIS PART IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN IT AND DON'T WANT IT RUINED!!!!
And I remember thinking that Ed Harris' death scene could have been really good because he was still quite a likeable character. I thought there could have been quite sad music on when he gets killed but as soon as he kills the kid, you know it can't happen. He suddenly becomes a guy that is bad. His character however, didn't seem like he would do something like that. He seemed alright.
And on the DVD there was a trailer for Men of Honour. It was possibly the corniest trailer I have ever seen. It had music from Armageddon and the dialog was amazing - "He will die young at 200 feet and that is the closest he will ever get to being a heeeeero". Corny or what!
"It's bad, but that makes it good."
