I watched The Others today. Good film, its a horror type film with out blood. Set in 1945 in a big house. Nicole Kidman stars as the mother. Its got a shock ending that is something like the Sixth Sense type of ending.

I just found that for you, it isn't that long but it mentions a few words about it.

The thing with the film though was well it's gonna be hard to tell you without giving away the storyline. But basically the film only made $26,000,000 in America because of the content of the film I suppose. I'm not sure why but SR don't stock it and I wish they would as the ending leaves you sweating and speechless and as for the rest of the film, perfection. Tim Robbins, Jeff Bridges and Joan Collins all are excellent and espically Jeff though who gives the 'Best Performance of this career'.

No, I haven't seen that film.

I'll keep my eyes out for it though.

Nina who? Look I'm 14 years old, I shouldn't be even watching the film let along knowing who did the music. What about Arlington Road? Have your eyes ever came across that film? No one seems to have watched it but I'd say it's the best thriller of all time.

The music in The Firm is kind of Jazz type stuff I *think* some of it is from a Nina Simone album, but I'm not 100% sure on that. That's probably the best way I can describe it.

It's not the sort of stuff I'd normally listen to, but I quite like it, and it fits in with the film as well.

Well at this time of the day there isn't much need to press the 'Reply quoting' button so I'll leave it out of this. Don't you find that most films are made so much better from the soundtrack? They add to the emotion of the films and when it's tense the music slowly builds up until an explosion occurs.

Try and imagine Jaws without that music or Jurassic Park without the ending music where the helicopter is leaving and it's just quiet. I can't really remember how they did it in The Firm but my favourite is from Hanz Zimmer in Pearl Harbor and although the film weren't exactly brilliant (which was a shame because with true stories it's not like you can do a remake of them or a sequel) the soundtrack made up for it with the emotions of war added in there by all our friends from Gladiator.,

Yeah, I've seen it before.

I've got it on video, just felt like watching it last night. I really like the music they use in it, although it's not normally my sort of thing.

Yeah, I've seen The Insider as well.

Class film!

Good film, a bit

Well worth watching.

Have you never seen that before last night? I love all those type of films, the political films always are tense. JFK, The Insider and The Firm. Have you seen The Insider because it is one hell of a great film.
