What are the wrong reasons? I think Platoon is brilliant and the music is fantastic. :-)

No - direct feed for both sound and picture. Perfect picture quality, only problem being that my DVD player lost the lip sync lightly now and then, but that is because my DVD player isn't that hot at playing back VCDs on CD-Rs. Caught up okay though.

Sound was in Pro-Logic. All this done by a "professional" pirating team with access to things like direct feeds i.e. the record from the original signal - bacically take what would go to the projector but stick a recording device in between. I wouldn't watch one of those rubbish video camera in cinema jobs - its called moving up the food chain.

Watched Dogma for the seventh time. I should stop doing that.

I watched Shaft and Billy Elliot. But not at the same time.

Shaft was the new version with Samuel L Jackson in it, was alright, not many laughs and overall it was a good film.

Billy Elliot, a bit over rated i think but a good film, you can see why it won baftas and not oscars.

Saw it 5-6 weeks ago. Its a very funny film.
