i enjoyed that little disscusion we had Mr. Tarrant, maybe we can have another one sometime on another pants film that you like (joke).

anyway im off to see lord of the Rings today, seen the trailor and it looks quite good.... we shall see

fair enough.... as for mr Woo Ping it says director, not action directory or anything else... i can read... and nobody else is listed as the director. so that must make him the director.

it'll mean "action director" which is a choreographer. Still, suppose its kind of a director. Trust me - I know my Woo Ping!

Then explain to me what I'm missing?

You admitted the plots were indeed weak, thus if I'm not watching for the weak plot, I'm left with very little to watch but the "action" which, while grounded in realsim, seeks to massage Mr. Lee's ego rather than provide me with entertainment. His films aren't bad as such, they just don't adhere to the ideals I look for in a kung fu film.
