Yeah, he certainly slowed Boston down. He's got a good sinker, really tempts batters into a swing.

Indeed, like the commentators said it usually takes an inning to get locked in for pitchers which was when Jeter and Sheffield hit 2 absolute lasers to left field. Then he came back out and pitched some good stuff.

Moose was also pitching well but Boston just had the hot bats, can't fault him as they were good pitches that got smacked out unlike Pavano who just flat out sucked on Saturday.

Chien Ming Wang looks to be quite a promising talent though.

After Wells gave up the 2 home runs in the 1st, he only gave about 1-2 hits in the next 7 innings. He was taken out of the game in the 9th, where the closer finished the job.

I watched baseball for the first time ever. Saw Jeter smash an early home run, smiled when I thought of Kawada.

Saw them go 2-1 up, then went to sleep.

Conclusion - Wells sucked.

So how the hell did you lose?

Boston won 7-2. They were smacking the pitchers around early on but it fizzled out towards the end.

I got up to the bottom of the 7th and after the Yankees once again didn't even get Wells over 10 pitches in the inning i decided to go to bed
