It's usually varies from 8pm to late on Sky Sports on Saturday and Sundays I think. I think Five show a late game on a Tuesday. Can't remember. Season is over anyway at the moment. I just usually look at the listings.

Baseball I watch pretty much all the time it's on. I used to only watch the Superbowl but I caught a bit of the regular season this time around. I don't watch any basketball although I try to keep up with what's going on and I usually watch the final games of the season.

I only started watching baseball at the World Series 2003 and I watched the whole of last season so I'm still a rookie at it all I suppose.

Anyway, baseball teams are split into 6 divisions, 3 in the American League and 3 the National league. After the regular season which is played over 160+ games, the top of every division and two wild cards play in a knockout competition to determine the World Series champions.

The American League and the National League teams don't play each other except for the odd occasions during the season.

I think that's basically it. Check mlb.com if you want to know a bit more.

Anyway, my thoughts on the World Series. I think St. Louis might do it this season.

For the basketball, I'll plump for Miami.
