a sinker just goes straight down and has no movement on it usually apart from just the downward motion and is usually spinning, a knuckler is just dead and moves. Sinkers are usually faster too and a knuckler can go up and come down

So, what's the difference between a knuckleball and a sinker or did I just make sinker up?

Well a good knuckleball has no spin and usually just sinks down, some people can get it to have a bit of movement though from left to right

Yea Wakefield had such a lazy motion of like just chucking it to the catcher saying *well there you go then* quite decieving really when you think how hard his pitches were to hit.

I would say knuckleballs are the best pitches to throw but they're just so damn hard to control that they can go anywhere as was seen last night. (and especially on MVP Baseball 2004 on the PS2 i can hit everything apart from a damn knuckleball)

Yeah, I would have thought it would make the arm look a little loose but there was no real difference to anyone elses arms. Wakefield looked to me when he was throwing like a lazy pitcher with a total lack of effort but that is so not true. I learnt a lot about baseball in that game. Fast balls aren't always the best.

I was for the first inning when they mentioned it but couldn't see anything weird. Is the ligaments anyway so i guess it wouldn't show on the outside

Yeah, I can't say I noticed any difference between him and anyone else. Then again, I wasn't really looking closely for it.

They were trying to explain what that pitch does for almost the entire game.
