Finished watching the Baseball and it was a good match. Glad to see Soriano (Sp) get a homer, he's a favourite of mine. Also it was fairly odd to see the starting pitcher go up to the ninth with 1 out to go.

The stats is one of the hardest things to learn on baseball. I needed to check the MLB website to get a description of them all and I still can't remember them.

The more you watch the more you learn. Hell I only just learned what the ERA for pitchers meant.

And watching that Knuckleball move in slow motion was excellent. I'm still unsure of what 'The Thing/Thang' actually is though. A sinker crossed with some other pitch, couldn't see any odd movement on it me self.

Well I tried to watch it but found it boring. The waits between each pitch didn't help. Also I didn't really understand what was going on - I mean, I know one guy throws the ball and the other guy has to hit it and run round all bases before they throw the ball back. That's pretty much all I know. AND I don't know any of the teams/players so it makes it even worse.

Once you've watched a baseball game on a high def 56 inch tv there's no substitute, it's totally awesome.

Night mate, take care

I tried to get my friends into it as well but they weren't interested and just let their pre-conceived ideas of it spoil their enjoyment. Luckily i got plenty of other american, japanese and spanish friends who all love it and during holidays and such we usually go round my mates house and watch the game on his high def tv

Well, it was Jetster who got me interested and I've been trying to get others into it but everyone I know is still in school and have never tried watching a game. Maybe during half term, I can get them into it.

Nope there's quite a lot of pitches in baseball, amazing how just holding the baseball at a different position can make it do all sorts of things.

Anyway off for tonight, going to play Socom 2 for a bit online and then go to bed. Always good to talk baseball with a fellow fan, don't get the chance much over here in Blighty

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
