Yankees this Sunday and Wednesday. Mariano looked good closing out the NL for that little glimpse we saw of him.

Heh, that was an interesting stat. They showed how Cleveland's bullpen had the best ERA and hasn't conceded a run in 20 innings. 10 blown saves though. Perhaps they should get a closer.

Anyway, the bullpen gave up a run, even though the game seems beyond Cleveland already. 12 hits for Detroit and 6 runs in 7 innings to Cleveland 2 hits and 1 run.

No weight behind the bat anymore :-D

Well, Davis is out now. Lost 10-7 in the round of 64. Could have gone either way. Strickland also out, losing to Martel the Canadian. Strickland was just beginning to lose his mind again as well.

Wednesday baseball = 3 rain postponements in a row. Tropical storms in Atlanta apparently.

Steve Davis = Jammy. He was pretty much out yesterday and needed a lot of results to go his way. Gets all the results he needs and wins his last match to get through.

3 wins out of 7 and you expect to go out.
