I'm not going to comment on your comments about the match. Most of you (mainly in the sport forum) are just being biast because your English. That's understandable of course :) And go Cong Woman! :D

I don't think the defender can be blamed for breaking Rooney's bone in his foot.

The ref had a poor game but England didn't really do a lot to make me think that it was the sole reason behind the defeat.

In all fairness GP the SWISS ref looked as though he was hell bent on extracting revenge for England beating his boys 3-0. They were making worse tackles than us and getting away with it when we got booked. Plus their defender got away with breaking a bone in Rooney's foot.

As much as I'd like to have some kind of sympathy for England, their performance did not impress me and England didn't look like a team strong enough to win the tournament. They only decided to attack and play when they needed to. 1 goal in International football is never enough.

I've seen enough negativity and leads frittered away to know that defending a 1-0 lead for an entire game is poor play. Sure, the decisions by the referee were poor but you bring it on yourself.

Anyway, all done and dusted now. You have to learn from it and move on.

Lipe. I must admit. I was supporting Portugal. To be honest i think i would support anyone other than England. Cong was non to pleased though. :|
