The Yankees do seem to get linked with every man and his dog. I'm not sure what the money situation is like at the Yankees. Do they have a big backer or just accumulated a lot of dosh over the years?

Yup just got to hope Bonds keeps getting walked and Ichiro can keep producing the hits.

Got a feeling Ichiro may be targeted by the Yanks in the off season

I saw that. Mild concussion I think it was. Still doing alright. It looks like it's going to be close between him and Bonds for the highest batting average at the end of the season.

Indeed he does, the only highlight of being a Mariners fan at the moment. On course for most hits in a year, although after that Kansas City Royal idiot beened up upside the head the other week he's been in a bit of a slump. Although he usually does go into a slump after the all-star break. That is if you can call a over .300 batting average a slump

Yeah, Bonds doesn't get the best of support. Does Ichiro play for your Mariners? He's having a good batting season I think.

They are still in the Wild Card race too so he may get to play a couple of games extra.

Yea plus there's no real time to send them and i doubt they'd move the Olympics to winter to accomodate Baseball really :-D

What we got 30-40 games left of the season? Take into account he only gets to swing at something once every game if that. Hmmmmm maybe. I wouldn't bet against it

I suppose it's a bad time for the Americans to send big names. It's a fairly major part of the season for a lot of the teams. I always tend to keep a check on the Red Sox only because they mentioned them on Cheers. :)

I've been following the progress of Barry Bonds too. He is hitting very well. Do you think he'll make 700 HRs before the end of the season?

Had that a few weeks back, tis very strange. I just grabbed a basketball and went down the park most days.

Didn't see much point in that, the Americans didn't even bother to send any major league players out there. I mean even the NBA managed to scrape some big name players together to form a team

Yup, Yankees been on a big losing run and the Scum Sox the other way round. Although i do strangely like seeing the Sox, just so i can see how Jesus does in center field for them :-D

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Excellent support service!
I have always found the support staff to provide an excellent service on every occasion I've called.
