Chelsea could probably lend you a midfielder. They seem to have every one going at the moment. :D

Well if they had everyone fit then nope they've still got the best squad out there but now with the injuries and what with Keane now joining the crock list i can see them struggling alot until about November. Like i said they need to buy a battling midfielder and a creative one. Gattuso and Aimar would do great but they cost money

Just tight like i said, no surprise they're the richest club in the Prem after Roman's children, they make all the money and hardly spend anything for a club of their size

I heard Newcastle were doing Utd's buying. :D

I can't imagine Utd's wage bill being particularly high. certainly not compared to some of the other Premiership clubs. Biggest stadium in the Premiership which sells out regularly. Doesn't quite add up...

Like i said in my topic in sport they're like a Jewish Scot and twice as tight. Although apparently they've bid for Rooney today, why i have no idea when it's our midfield needing some attention but meh i've given up making sense of United, like i have of the Mariners trading Garcia one of the best young pitchers out there

Hmmm, I'm not sure what's going on with Man Utd and their finances. They say they are one of the richest clubs in the world and yet they won't stump up the cash for a couple of buys. Perhaps a bit of 'sticking some money in the pocket' in the board? :D

Still are, that's why United did that American tour. I remember when it was first announced we were meant to make like 300 million from it. Not seen any of it

Yeah, the Yankees are the most marketed team about. Weren't they teamed up with Man Utd for a bit, merchandise wise or was that my imagination?

Steinbrenner has tons of cash and also the Yanks generate huge amounts of cash in America and around the world by people who wear their caps yet don't know anything about the team (pet peeve of mine)
