I was always big for my age and quite athletic (I still hold my schools 200 meter record...) given that I was one of the oldest in my year and always had my 'growth spurts' before everyone as, being bigger AND more athletic than everyone I played against made me like, the Jonah Lomu of my year or something. Of course every kid likes playing a game they are good at.

I never liked doing rugby but I had no choice. Stupid school.

Hee, I feel lucky that my PE teachers were all 'old school' and believed that boys should be competing in manly sports like Football and Rugby. Kinda wish I'd been brought up in America though, as then there would be a better chance I would have done amateur wrestling...

Yeah, I didn't want to go to the discos and barn dancing was damn compulsory as it was a P.E lesson.

I only went to the discos and stuff because I was helping out but we had shifts so there were times when there was not much to do.

Yeuch. School discos I avoided like the plague, I'd rather not be there... Double yeeech at barn dancing.

One of my mates still makes a fool of himself on the dancefloor evey time we go out (Lucy, Neil). But then I'm prone to 'bust-a-move' myself after a few glasses of pop...

All those school functions like school discos and leavers do's weren't that interesting to me as I'd rather just talk with my mates. I've been put off dancing ever since that horrible barn dancing in school...

Most of my time at parties back in my younger days was spent trying to drink more fizzy drinks than my mate. He gave after 5 cups. Needless to say, I won by miles.
