Apart from the 2 songs they released as singles, the album was complete garbage. I must have been about 10 at the time and I was embarrassed then.

At least some of the early celebrity cameos didn't actually feature that person on screen. The Simpsons would never beat Family Guy when it comes to crazy storylines.

The storylines themselves aren't real anymore they're just crazy, would never happen nonsense just thought of last after they've decided what celebrity they can crowbar into the show.

Hmm, I take it Groening isn't like the WWE then. i.e. rejecting everyone else's ideas on the basis they didn't think of them...

I think they need to bring a bit more 'realism' back to Homer at the very least. He used to be a caring dad that just messed up. A lot. Now he's just plain stupid.

We should still submit that idea though. Get on it!
