If you go down your newsagent you'll get a free 30 day trial of flash off one of the mags for sure, and its far better than to script it....

If you do decide to use HTML, a marquee is the easiest way of doing it. However, they only work in IE, and they can jump a bit. Just try it out though if you need an easy option:

I agree with what everyone else is saying - DONT use the ... tag as it looks poo and only works in IE. Go to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.whiston/movingtext.html to see how to really do scrolling text (it's designed for IE and Netscape and was originally in a popup). Here's all the code you'll need for a quickdemo:

Your text can go here

There you go :)

This is a javascript one I've used (once). I really hate scrolling or flashing text in all its forms but if you really want to .....

The works in IE only, but I'm sure I have a JavaScript version somewhere on my 'poter, so if I go find it, I'll send it to you... if you want it?

Yes, works...however, anyone found to be using this unnescessarily will be hunted down and shot. One of my pet hates.
