...the GameCube launch was a bit of an anti-climax. Anyone care to give me some unbiased info?

heh heh. Nintendo are wise because they know that most people cannot afford to buy loads of games at once... in fact, 3 games in a month is a good thing, especially if they're good ones... after, if the release schedule is on average 8 a month (inc. third parties), and they all have a degree of quality about them, with one really cracking game coming along around every half year, then I'm happy.
