I'm just wondering if it would be possible to host subdomains on freeola getdotted domains?

so like http://forums.mysite.com }links to{ /htdocs/forums

?

Is it possible to have subdomains even pointing to the same place because even with that you can use the referral variable in php to send it to the right place.

How can i setup subdomains to point to the same place?

I am afraid that sub domains are not realy possible. As cjh said you can only have sub folders. The alternative is using multiple domains on multiple accounts.

Subdomains don't really count on Freeola Hosted sites, as like Tony said, they all just point to the same place. This is done automaticly by Freeola Servers, so as far as I know, you can't do what you asked, regarding forums.mysite.com going to /htdocs/forums

All that your able to do is have Sub Folders,
www.mysite.com/forums
www.mysite.com/guestbook
... I'm sure you get the gist.

Though you may be able to do what you mean using a PHP Script, I'm not sure how, but it would probably use some method of readind the web address entered, not sure if there is such a method though...

You can have as many subdomains as you like on one Get Dotted domain but they will all lead to the same web site!
