Anyway, any hopes of such a title on the Nintendo machine were initially shattered, seeing as the man behind the game (Yu Suzuki) and his development team (AM2) decided to concentrate their efforts on PS2 with a conversion of Virtua Fighter 4. However, in a recent interview with the man himself, he clearly stated "I am beyond impressed with Nintendo GameCube, more so than the other consoles." He also stated that his team are working on several Gamecube projects. Oh, please let it be Shenmue, pleeeeeeeeaasseeee!

Hey, I take it you're getting a Gamecube cooky?
Oh well, even though I heard that the rest of the Shenmue series was gonna be released on the god awful X-Box, I just HOPE that Sega see the light and release it on Gamecube INSTEAD!
