"Gad attempts..."

Ive have been sat around far to long about how I can get my hands on a gad. Thing is I don’t have a clue. Thought about just going to freeola and putting a gun to your heads until I got one but I thought that was a lil to dramatic. Maybe not the way @ngel would go about things.

Then I could probably do a Pb and write something creative, however I see that I was not that creative to think about anything worth writing about.

I thought I could do a technical post, well I see Cjh (Gad Grabber) manages to write some foreign rubbish but seen as I didn’t understand it I thought I would forget about that one.

Ah yeah Bingo, such easy ways to try win one of these things. Its fine though but I seem to have been given the wrong cards all the time. Then when I think oh I only have three or four to go some nitwit posts that they only need one more. Then I check my card ugh; it’s one of the three-I needs… BAH!

I could even just drop hints about how I need £4.99 for a Mic like Machie does. I can see that gets him nowhere. Gees Machie get a part time job working at Maccy D’s, sure you’ll have it in no time at all.

Now I could take the easy way out and get some cheats together of some other random site. One easy way to get a Gad I’m sure. No effort at all in a bit of copy and pasting.

Wonder if we can get a Gad for Lurking, So many people lurk and are very much forgotten about. That doesn’t take too much effort, so I’m sure that’s a possible win for a Gad.

Then it came to me…

Why don’t I just ask for one…

It's best thing of the week now. So submit anything between Monday and Sunday and you could win a GAD the following Wednesday to Sunday. Monday and Tuesday were webmaster days but now Mondays are bingo days =)

Less likely my Fusion Frenzy review will win now. :P Although it's no longer done for 'best thing of the day' is it? So technically my post could win over the week along with others made on the same day...

Got a kickass walkthrough up for consideration too, if neither wins I shall be surprised.

So in summary: bah.

You just had to go and win GAD as well as the Bingo didnt you Borat? You greedy bast! (as Kawada would say)

Word. See, now this deserves a GAD much more than some numb lengthy, copied schizo post. Entertaining, insightful, heartfelt and engaging.. two thumbs!

I keep trying to figure what the GAD criteria is for a win and all I can really imagine from what Vexxxed has said, is some n00b staffie sitting around on tea break perusing through the threads for something compelling.. whether it be for mere length, chuckle value, or insightful/enlightening content that is genuinely drafted by a member.

Okay, so I'm assuming the second part.

Vexxxed has reported there are more than one that makes the ultimate decision. So, then I get visuals of two n00b bobblehead staffies at a monitor and a lot of "yup, yup, yup.." going on. :P

Yup this Staffies.. and give the girl a GAD :)~

It just ain't the same because ...

a) The site doesn't sell games anymore, so the reviews are unlikely to be read by anyone other than forum dwellers.
b) The old reviews looked much better, attached to the main game page and featuring screenshots to look at etc.
c) GADs were easier to win back then, there wasn't as much competition from customer sites, bingo etc :D

Yeah and this time there's even less competition =D

We've had quite a few reviews win from there. I'm quite impressed. I've yet to post something so I think I'll give it a try tomorrow.
