And I've just got home and watched the footage.
I am at a loss for words as to what I have seen and heard.
This is the sort of event that defines a century, something you will never ever forget.
This is something that affects us all.
Personally, it has finally proven what I have thought for a long time.
We are a mean, foul little race of me-monkeys,incapable of rational behaviour and actions.
This attack today that has killed who-knows-how-many has finally shown just how utterly vile we can be to each other and it makes me sick.
And what frightens me?
George W Bush.
The guy that is president of America. A guy that left his home-state twice before becoming president, is in favour of the death penalty and for people carrying concealed weapons.
If this is not domestic terrorism, like Tim McVeigh and Oklahomo - I seriously believe that this is what can herald World War 3.
America lashes out, and a country that already acted in a totally inconcievable manner with these attacks will retaliate.
And the rest of the world gets sucked down with them.
I have no idea what to think or say about the events of today, they have left me stunned and feeling so sick and confused at this horrific series of events.
What I do know is that this will continue, everyone felt sick at Lockerbie and other terrorist acts like Omagh.
But we forgot and moved on.
I despair of our future if we are willing to engage in senseless acts of murder like this.
I am ashamed to be human today.
We are monkeys with better weapons, that's all we are.
I can't get my head around today's actions at all, it's just so far beyond anything I can understand.
I'm just left stunned and saddened by this.
The immediate reaction is to scream for blood, but that just carries on the cycle.
But you cant let them get away with it.
This will never end, we will continue to hate and murder and kill each other simply because we can.
Animals kill each other for food, that's it.
I dont see them committing barbaric acts of senseless murder.
I have spent a lifetime shouting and yelling about trying to change things, trying to make a difference.
I joined Amnesty International, I shout about Child Labour, I refuse to wear logo clothes.
And at the end of the day, it didn't do a damn bit of difference to what happened today, nor will it.
Everything I try to do to make a difference, and hundreds/thousands of people died today because some people didn't like The USA
What's the point man?
For all my passion, for all my screaming my soul out to try and change things, today happened anyway.
I am goddam ashamed to be part of this planet today, anyone watching what has happened would close the door and leave us to it.
I couldn't believe the attidtude of some of the isrealites, either - celebrating at the events in America.
Personally, I really fear for where this whole situation is headed. I don't think it will be pretty at all.
