I'm getting some trouble with socom, and fifa 2004 when they are online.

Socom is lagging really bad, I start about 20 secs (on average), sometimes longer sometimes shorter, into the round.

Fifa I can not get a match on.

I think I need to clean my PS 2.

I've had it for 3 years and its not been cleaned once, so I think it's due one.

If I do not get it wokring online, I'll be OK, as offline seems good still.

It could just be Sococms disk, and fifas servers, but I still want to clean my PS 2.

When I say clean, I don't mean taking the lid of by the way.

If it does not work I will be getitng a new silver one and 2 controllers for Xmas.

Yeah use a hoover on the vents.
Also get a DVD lens cleaner disk and use that.

Also what speed is your connection and how are you connected to the web?
Could be just that you are trying to do too much with the connection at the same time or your PC is limiting the bandwidth getting to your PC.
