This is an intentionally tricky competition. You have to create the best virtual newbie

1. Think of a user name and a tagline to go with it.

2. Delete the cookie for your normal sign up if you have selected "remember me". You can sign up your new name either by scrolling down the left side strip to REGISTER WITH US - DISCUSSIONS, or by signing up as a newbie as you make your first "reply" post.

3. Sign up as a new user, giving your proper name and address. You DON'T need to give your real e-mail address, as I think this has to be unique. But if you want an extra e-mail address you can always sign up for one at Freeola.

4. Come here and write a post under your new virtual newbie name. The post must display your virtual newbie's character and personality.

The winner will be the post which displays the most original character. This character may be adopted for the forums, so make him/her likeable and not horrible.

You can enter as many times as you like.

You can make several entries under the same virtual newbie name.

You can try to guess who are the real regulars behind the virtual newbies.

The competition will be judged at the end of September.

(it occurs to me that I could enter this myself)

MSN stands for MicroSoft Network I believe, that's part of Billy's big company aint it?

As for this GG thing, I think you're all going a little far, not only Jews were killed, Whites and Blacks were too. To put it the best way, people were killed and this in itself is atrocious. Here we are all saying Poor Jews that's horrible, well let's go and look at what Jews are doing today... Oh yes here they are attacking Palastines because they want the land. Not even anything to do with religion and the only reason no action is being taken? The religion is being used as a shield. I hate the idea that a Black person can't be racist against a white one, that Slavery which White people made illegal a long time ago should still be being paid for but Blacks just want to be treated as people, that the slavery is continued in Africa by people of all colours and Whites are blamed exclusively. Worst yet slavery started in Africa with the Egyptians and spread from there with other empires, so why is it all the White man's fault? I wont feel guilty for something that I had nothing to do with and wouldn't do myself if I had the choice.

Why is it that you're all bothered about Jews in the holocaust and yet totally neglect the fact that the GG post could be considered offensive to Germans? Because it was in Germany that the atrocities were commited perhaps? Should we be blaming those that weren't old enough to do anything at the time, weren't born or were under a military regime that didn't allow them to speak up? No I think that the biggest problem is that we still don't see every individual as a person, we see them as their colour, religion, sex, origin or whatever. Even though we mean well, the best way to help would be to ignore these things altogether and treat them as the Human Being that they are.

I think RBS should stay, he made a bad joke and it went horribly wrong, but let us start by forgiving him his mistakes and learn the lesson that it allowed us to discover.

Hi there, my name is Mr Funk and I'm new to this forum, so I'll introduce myself to you. My favourite colour is red, my lucky number 101101001, my favourite food is tomato ketchup and my favourite company is Microsoft. In my spare time I like to play Microsoft Train or Flight Simulator, listen to Jamiroquai and wait for Big Brother Series 3.

The main reason I joined this forum was to tell you all how good Microsoft are. Bill Gates is the cleverest pesron in the world in my opinion (closely followed by Helen from Big Brother). Why? Well, look at his company and all of the amazing products he has created! For example, where would we be without Windows or Microsoft Office? Nowhere! We wouldn't be able to do anything on our PC's without him! Just think, it is thanks to young Bill that you're surfing the net now with Internet Explorer. Mr Gates was also the man to bring you MSN Messenger and the Hotmail accounts many of you use. And soon, he'll be the man to bring you the XBox - the home console that will devastate all others. With its power, games line-up and style, Nintendo and Sony's poor efforts will not come close. Come Spring 2002, I dare you to compare your new GC with my new XBox. You will be reduced to tears! Just remember Microsoft's back catalogue of faultless products for inspiration.

Show your respect for Bill Gates and remember these three things:
- Buy Microsoft
- Listen to Jamiroquai
- Watch Big Brother

Thank you for reading
