The FX5600 and the Radeon 9600 are direct competitors, how can you say that he will notice the difference going from one to the other? He may get 45fps as opposed to 40fps in Doom III or Half-Life 2, but that's not nearly worth justifying buying a whole new card for. On top of that, Tyan are not a respected videocard manufacturer, and I've only heard bad things about their products and support.

i mean, my FX5600 wasn't an ultra. if it was, then i'd agree that it'd be VERY close behind the one i'm getting, based on tests and results that several reviews have pointed out.
