Approach either of the doors. Ask the guard there what the OTHER guard would say if asked which was the door to death.

If this guard is the honest one, he will truthfully tell you that the other twin would claim that the door to death is in fact the real door to life. In this case, you would choose to enter whichever door is pointed out as the door to death .If this guard is the dishonest one however, he will lie and say that the other guard (the honest one) would be untruthful, and would hence claim that the door to death is the real door to life.

Either way, the real door to life is whichever door is selected on the other twin's behalf as the door to death.
