Any other Freeola users noticed an increase in SPAM recently?
We've just had a pretty good run of low levels of SPAM, but for the large range of domain/emails I look after I can see a recent increase.
If there's anything Freeola can check/update it would be appreciated.
Am I right in thinking SPAM email samples sent as attachments via Outlook are still no use to you?
Thanks.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] As I mentioned earlier I'm seeing some dodgy Freeola account spoofing going on as well.
I've been sending examples to Freeola's abuse@ address.
Don't forward them but send them as attachments so that the 'email headers' remain intact.
@Freeola - any feedback would be welcomed...
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Can forward a couple of them on if required.

Just a thought,is anyone on here (with a Freeola email address obviously) not receiving these emails ?.Is it all Freeola accounts, all Enta accounts or just certain ones ?.I have an old virgin.net account (haven't used it in years) but I still receive emails through it.Don't get any whatsoever through that ?.
FWIW ESET's spam filter is pretty good at filtering them out when they come through. Not really a fix but at least I don't have to read through the damn things.

Can only agree with you Hmmm - a tremendous increase both in volume and subject matter and now including foreign language ones.....it's a veritable deluge:-)
It's happening 'between' accounts listed in MyFreeola - i.e. account 'A' spoofed to send an email to account 'Z'...
I'm also seeing spam to Freeola addresses that have never been made public so it must be a pretty good dictionary attack or they've been very clever :(
Hopefully I'm not the only one sending (attaching) emails to abuse@freeola to hopefully improve the situation?
Any update from Freeola is, as always welcomed.

I'm getting the usual manhood enhancements plus Rolex watches and now Russian brides......
Nothing attracts Russian women more than a bloke with a fake Rolex watch and an enhanced manhood DL ! :)
