Tried new batteries. Nothing.
Tried different frequency links. Nothing.
Tried it in different controller slot. Nothing.
The connection between my Wavebird and the infa-red adaptor is dead. Controller still goes on, but the adaptor doesn't.
And for no good reason.
So I'll be taking that back tomorrow then - first Nintendo product I've ever had something wrong with. Bah.

My wavebird has been in great condition since it was purchased 1 year ago...
Last time I was flying through south ocean on skies, almost made it to the other side, when my ship stopped.
By the time I'd realised the problem, found new batteries and put them in, I'd been blown back to nasr :^)
