No, really. £30 for a lump of plastic that has suddenly broken down.

Tried new batteries. Nothing.
Tried different frequency links. Nothing.
Tried it in different controller slot. Nothing.

The connection between my Wavebird and the infa-red adaptor is dead. Controller still goes on, but the adaptor doesn't.

And for no good reason.

So I'll be taking that back tomorrow then - first Nintendo product I've ever had something wrong with. Bah.

And playing with our Gamecube's on earth via Saltalitebird!

I like the way the wavebird uses parrallel dimensions to make the connection with the Gamecube without using a wire. The wonders of modern technology. This time next year we shall all be living on the moon.

I love my wave bird. i admit when the batterys go, it does go a bit slow responcive. but then i just go get some new ones out the cupboard. and NO WIRES!!!
