No, really. £30 for a lump of plastic that has suddenly broken down.

Tried new batteries. Nothing.
Tried different frequency links. Nothing.
Tried it in different controller slot. Nothing.

The connection between my Wavebird and the infa-red adaptor is dead. Controller still goes on, but the adaptor doesn't.

And for no good reason.

So I'll be taking that back tomorrow then - first Nintendo product I've ever had something wrong with. Bah.

oh well, bad luck...my wavebird has always worked fine.....'tis a very nice thing...now i get to throw my controller in the air when i win, and the wire doesnt slam it to the ground straight away..whee!

Wavebirds are no way crap.

I wouldn't be comfortable where I game without it.

My copy of Rebel Strike actually crashed. First console game that's ever done that on me.

Must say all that crap about next gen consoles crashing on certain games was a complete fabrication. Out of all 3 consoles I have only had two crashes, once on my Xbox and once on my PS2. My Cube is yet to crash on any game despite reading that Rogue Leader 2 was a buggy game.
