I think its genuine.
I have heard many rumours about the media used on the the N5 which will remain to be 3 inch disks each storing upto 12gb of data as apposed to the current GC storage of 1.5gb per CD.
Nintendo will be making games for this console already... as with all new consoles games development starts upto 2 years before the console is released to the public (otherwise there wouldnt be any games to play on the new console) i 100% believe that this is the actual N5 console were looking at in this picture, and it looks stunning.
PS: read the spec sheet... it makes the current GC spec look more like a Commodore 64.

Oh come on, everyone knows that a Nintendo console design isnt released until Nintendo are ready. And its clearly a photoshop job.
