Just because their is hole it dosen't mean that it is a must for it to get filled.
The other reason is that I'm getting the xbox which has a hard drive for no extra cost.
Though it goes down to the consumer decide but this is my point of view i ain't getting the HDD and modem.
£200 and £40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The HDD is said to be a 40 Gigabyte peripheral with enough storage for eight full DVD's. The Network Adaptor is said to be able to download extra episodes of games, trade virtual items online or to watch and store streaming multimedia.
The first titles confirmed as utillising the new HDD add-on will include Final Fantasy 10, Capcom Vs SNK 2 and many other japanese games.
The Hard Disk Drive and Network Adaptor will be released in the UK in February 2002, at approximately £200 and £40 respectively.
(A bit later than expected, dont forget that it could even be longer knowing Sony)
These are a must-buy for all PS2 owners.
ahh well....doesn't matter the earlier the better
