Manhunt arrived earlier on today so uni work was put to one side to see just how good it was.

First impressions are good, its all dark and eerie and the overall atmosphere is cool.
If you have a headset (from socom etc) then plug it in before you start. You can make noises to attract the hunters and listen to your commands through it.

Looking through the manual there is a whole range of weapons and I think a lot of the story has been kept very secret from the press.

Had to stop to get uni work out the way but I'll play more and review it soon.

No, you use the unaccurate D-Pad. They found that using analogue would be selling out.

How do you do the third execution?

What's all this abaht then? I'm reading down this thred and there be talk of '3rd executions'. You mean to say you can do different style kills with one weapon? Every time I go in for a kill, it's always the same kill style!
How do you pull different moves off?

Got to say though, it is a very impressive game. Got to be really sneaky and all, and I plugged my SOCOM headset in and started whistling at the hunters to p*ss them off!

I like.

I havn't got the game (yet) but i thing that the longer you hold down the attack button the more agressive the kill.

3 levels.

I thought it was something like that, but wouldn't the hunter turn round if you held it too long? Or does the game kind of pause while you charge your execution?

I'll have to try it later.

That's the whole point!!

The longer you hold the button, the more chance you have of gettin spotted, so the higher the risk and the better reward!

As the game goes on I think it gets better and better.

But it gets hard at times too. But once you get some proper guns it is like playing a different game, not so much sneak and kill as clever gun fights.

Very cool

I think this game has massive replay potential. I restart the game from the beginning each time I play it. It's just too damn sweet. My personal fav. execution is the Crowbar No.3 the one where he stabs it into their spine then when they're on they're knees he rams it into the top of their head.

You can also get their heads off using the Wire execution No.3. He pulls it off and then you pick it up to distract enemies with.

A nice tip for those who don't know. If you have a brick or bottle and are in a tight squeeze with 2 people following you, turn real quick and auto aim with the brick and thro it in the Hunters face which gives you just enough time to get ahead of them.
