It was going to be released on September 30th. Then November 27th. Now it's being released in April. But some people have apparently got their grubby mitts on it!

Today I heard that someone had found the source code and also found some files somewhere, and made the actual game. I'm not promoting piracy here, but I was astounded at the news. However, it's only a rumor, so it may not be true. But if it is, people will have the game months before its release.

Well? :)

Ah...condition zero, the follow up to counter-strike, should be getting it soon, it's not out yet is it?

It doesn't give the plot away. You had to use console commands to load maps, you couldn't just play through the game. OR I didn't find a way to anyway.

Theres also a 1.9 gig version with Condition Zero. You can apparently play Condition Zero in Halflife 2 or the original Halflife engine. Also Halflife can be played on the Halflife 2 engine.

No point really as if its buggy and things don't load etc your just spoiling the game. I could have had this ages ago but whats the point in getting something which is buggy and will give the plot away before the games out and finished. If this was a beta version like the one released of Jedi Academy then I would say that it would be a good investment so to speak as you know that the game is pratically finished.

Hmmm first time I've heard anyone worry about 'investing' time in playing games.

I'm not, because it's illegal to pay for these goods. By investment, i mean investing my time in playing it.

Investment implies you are putting money into it...

I might be getting it soon as well. God bless piracy! Didn't have the original, but this should really kick.

However, if there are still bugs in it, it may not be such a good investment...

Even more if you count the 1.2 gig installation file.
