The wonderful powers that be (so Ali and crew) have deemed my very first 2 walkthrough's GAD worthy. And I'm flattered. BUT stumped at the same time. You see I've been trawling through new releases and past releases and do not have a clue what to choose as my double whammy prizes.

Here is what I've been considering:

XIII

VERY tempted heard many good things, what do you think?

Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

I just love platformers and this looks far superior to the upcoming multi-format Sonic game.

True Crime: Streets of LA

I visited a mates house today who showed me it and I'm highly impressed! Looks like it could get tiresome but not too sure.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike

After owning all Factor 5's star wars flight games (including the other 2 Squadron's and Battle for Naboo) this seems like the obvious choice. Just I don't seem to love them like everyone else seems to. Nevertheless if the new updates are great then I should give it a go.

There be the options, don't mention 1080 it will be purchased myself from this special reserve establishment. Go on... help.

Got it.

Hmmmm Billy seems attractive....

The time for decision has come and I think Star Wars may have just won it!

Nooo! Don't get Billy Hatcher, it's rubbish. Even if you like platformers, yes the egg's a nice twist, but it doesn't stop it being medicore.

I think it depends on what games you are playing now, what you intend to be playing within the very-near-future, and what you've just been playing, previously, and probably finished...

If you haven't had a decent first-person shooter since TimeSplitters 2, loved GoldenEye, and are looking for a good single-player experience after Mario Kart and F-Zero, I'd say go for XIII.

But if you've been playing a lot of "serious" games lately, or you're still in the mood for something "fun" after Mario Kart and Hit & Run - but still want something NEW - go for Billy Hatcher.

The choice is yours.

And I haven't included the new Star Wars game because, basically, I don't know schmitt-diddly about it. :)

Heh... but it does sound like a rumour though... no fact to base it on. No announcement to steal Nintendo's thunder.

Seems dodgy.

It could be. It could be.

Even if it is true then it is a year away, so many games between now and then. But if it does turn out to be true then there will be a decent game on our hands, and you may well have slipped to the dark side by that point :-p.

Then again this is all just a rumour so this conversation could be a total waste of time.
