I know it was an old game but it has been brought up latly and I've just remembered how much I loved it. So much to do... massive sprawling in depth levels that were scary, challenging and fantastic. Jaunty was hilarious too.

A deep deep story and a game that was built for the N64 with a very dodgy Playstation equilivent that... strangely had far worst sound of all things! I got 120 lost souls and got that pointless gun but it was such a great game... even collecting those things were enjoyable... and killing those hilarious serial killers was probably the most enjoyable thing i've ever had to do. AND I didn't even use a solution.

One of the only games that even came close to Zelda's greatness.

I hear the sequel, Shadowman 2econd coming was a dissapointment and unlike the original... which is SUCH A SHAME! and It was cancelled after the N64 version.

A beautiful game and a sequel from the same team like planned would have been ideal.

I'd love for it to return but I feel it may just be one of those truly incredible games that gets lost in the void of endless sequels.

Acclaim's greatest moment ever!

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I loved that game. The piano music in the asylum was the best atmospheric thing ever :^)

Shadowman 2 was brutally disappointing though. I played about half of it, got disillusioned by the ever-increasing number of those stupid things to open the book, the weak gameplay and the blatantly signposted plot twists that treated the player like a complete mong.

Then again, I gave up half way through. It could have turned out differently. But I'd be surprised...

Well hello Michael... top of the morning to you now.

I played Shadowman thru on the Dremacast and loved it very much... Jack the Ripper was a tough so-and-so.
