A deep deep story and a game that was built for the N64 with a very dodgy Playstation equilivent that... strangely had far worst sound of all things! I got 120 lost souls and got that pointless gun but it was such a great game... even collecting those things were enjoyable... and killing those hilarious serial killers was probably the most enjoyable thing i've ever had to do. AND I didn't even use a solution.
One of the only games that even came close to Zelda's greatness.
I hear the sequel, Shadowman 2econd coming was a dissapointment and unlike the original... which is SUCH A SHAME! and It was cancelled after the N64 version.
A beautiful game and a sequel from the same team like planned would have been ideal.
I'd love for it to return but I feel it may just be one of those truly incredible games that gets lost in the void of endless sequels.
Acclaim's greatest moment ever!
Anyone else have any thoughts?

Ah it's pretty naff on the PS1.
> It will remain as Acclaim's best ever game.
I would have to agree there - Followed closely though by Turok 2 Seeds of Evil!

Heh. I remember seeing a face in the skin furniture. Excellent :^)
The mix of the gore-based deadside and dark, creepy liveside was fantastic...
I was so looking forward to the sequel, the team were already working on it and it was due for the N64.
Then Acclaim shook things up, the team was taken off the project and it was given to someone else and was now due exclusivly for the PS2.
And they messed it up.
Great.

Crawling along the roof... he was a sod.
The moonlight sinatra rolling throughout the errie underground.
And hearing luke yell "mikey" one last time. It was obvious by his penultimate appeareance how this was going to end.
I can't remember all of Mike's brilliant insults to the serial killers but they were great.
The Killer in that house scared the hell out of me.

Heh. I nailed him with the violator and shield, I think. Took a while but he didn't manage to do much...
