Started with the laughing stick-on mouth.
Now we have the dancing robot & the bird.
Could anyone else advertise their product without showing it or what it can do?
Simple and effective. Bizarre but highly memorable. I don't know how they keep coming up with them.
I just don't see the adverts as being the slightest bit funny, is that wrong?
Oh and if I'm a Ninty, where hast my Gamecube gone?....oh yeah, I sold it on Ebay.

Actually, I would be whinging in the Ninty forum about how easy it would be to criticise the adverts for not directly advertising the quality games, and relying on crappy gimmicks to sell the product to morons.
But you have every right to an opinion of your own, however flawed it may be.

Have you noticed how the death of GAD was shortly followed by the flow of 'less able' members? All those that claimed 'GAD doesn't matter' left, then other left because they thought nobody good came on anymore, and it snowballed from there.
Now the forums are filled with 'Baz da ardnut' and 'Scottish_Bloke' people.
Argh.
I never said he tried to irritate people, i just find his posts annoying on occassion.
And if everyone followed the 'didn't have anything nice to say...' rule, then the world would be so fecking boring.
I'm going to leave this here.
And no-one can deny it would suit Ninty much better. Because that's what they're all about.
And, ironically, Ninty are the ones who could do with such adverts.
But, that's that.

I joined these forums long ago, when they were a pretty fun place to be and come for a laugh.
Now I find there are too many "haters" - people all too eager to jump down your throat at the slightest provocation, people who just seem to be out for an argument, and who have no real respect for other people's opinions.
Discussion is one thing, argument another.
In short, these forums aren't fun any more.
I took a break of a few months, came back to see if things had improved, and they haven't. So I'll be leaving again soon.

Leave it out.
Why are you trying to start stupid arguments? WM's a good poster and doesn't go around purposely irritating people. If you find him to do so, then you're in the insignificant minority.
Personally, I come on here due to boredom.
