The new PS2 adverts.

Started with the laughing stick-on mouth.

Now we have the dancing robot & the bird.

Could anyone else advertise their product without showing it or what it can do?

Simple and effective. Bizarre but highly memorable. I don't know how they keep coming up with them.

On here you can own them all and still be called a fanboy!

Not at all. I just thought it curious that all who had replied and said they disliked the ads were - to the best of my knowledge - "Ninty's".

And knowing how this place has always been, I put two and two together.

If I came up with five, then I blame it on previous examples given, not my lack of education!

Personally, I found them funny before I even knew what they were advertising. I'd forgotten about the 'laughing mouth' advert when I saw the dancing robot, and was p!ssing myself laughing before the product was revealed.

Not hard considering the adverts have nothing to do with the PS2...

"Rubbish"

The adverts are brilliant and even my girlfriend, who's not really into the PS2, thinks they're funny.

What a ridiculous thought.

The GameCube is a fantastic console, especially recently.

I hate those ads, dont make me want to buy a PS2 at all. Infact thats the one thing ive hated about sony, putting stupid ads that show no game clips.

No Wookie don't go...

Tilta sold his GC?!?!?!? Excuse me, need time to assimilate that.

I like the PS2 adverts, even though they don't show anything of what it does. But it builds brand awareness and that is the point of adverts.

Yes the forums have degenerated since the demise of GAD, but it is back now. Albeit in a lesser form. But if it doesn't matter then why so many gone?

Things will only get worse if more of the decent users leave. There are still some. And it is for them that I still come on here. Nothing else.
