A trustworthy loud whisper has shouted these N5 release titles at me recently... it would be very easy to speculate on any other forthcoming title but the information i have heard is from a usually very reliable and informed source.
Some of the expected release titles for the N5 are currently...
Metroid Prime 2
Too Human
Eternal Darkness 2 - Sanitys redemption
Super monkey ball 3
Super smash bros 3
Pikmin 3
All are currently in early development stages for the next gen console.
What games would you like to see come onto the N5?
Im hoping for MUCH better 3rd party support this time around... maybe in 16 months time we will know more (Nintendo have hinted at a March 2005 release in Japan for the N5)

Had you have bothered to read the original post i made in this thread then you would have seen that i asked what games people would to see come to the N5... i wasnt speaking about the obvious genres, i was referring to games in general... i think i mentioned that i was looking forward to the prospect of a Resident Evil game myself... thats the sort of thing i meant in my question, if thats ok with you.
Changing direction? hmm no, i have posted all that i know about the subject and answered the questions asked as best as i could... to save going round in circles i wanted to move onwards with my 2nd question which was indeed 'what games would you like to see?' as i said before i would like a Resident Evil game with the next gen graphics engine.
Its an acceptable question to ask in a Nintendo thread.

I agree the list could be better but that is ONLY a list i have been told, it is not the definitive release list by any stretch of the imagination (there are some great games listed there incidentally)

Again i can only tell you what ive been told, how much you choose to want to believe is up to you, however EA and other developers HAVE been contacted by Nintendo regarding the N5 and told to get ready to program... how far developers have taken this is unknown but they have been spoken to by Nintendo.

A: The list is rubbish, we'll probably get Metroid Prime 2 yes and a silicon Knights game yes (probably too human) but that is because NOA have talked about it. Mario 128 is also rumoured as a launch title. Smash Brothers 3 is an obvious guess of course.
B: If Rogue Squadron gets an X-box launch and it certainly isn't 99.9% certain (especially as there has been no announcement and Microsoft would have wanted it to damage Cube sales) it will be ported by another company and not Gamecube exclusive Factor 5.
C: Factor 5 don't make Pilotwings just this time around.

He told me that list of games from people that he knows in 'the business' who are either working on them or similary know someone who is working on them.
The guy i know is very reliable and well informed in these matters, i didnt mention before cos this is the Nintendo section of the forum but when we spoke he actually said that all 3 of the major consoles had contacted EA over the past 6 months with similar messages regarding programming for the next gen consoles, i could easily lie here and name a few bogus titles but i see no point in deliberately misleading anyone as theres no gain for me in doing that.
The shortlist of games i origianlly posted were a list that he had heard were in development at this point in time for waht he was told to be for the N5... how this pans out will only be seen with time.
The main things i really want to focus on here are...
