Some of the expected release titles for the N5 are currently...
Metroid Prime 2
Too Human
Eternal Darkness 2 - Sanitys redemption
Super monkey ball 3
Super smash bros 3
Pikmin 3
All are currently in early development stages for the next gen console.
What games would you like to see come onto the N5?
Im hoping for MUCH better 3rd party support this time around... maybe in 16 months time we will know more (Nintendo have hinted at a March 2005 release in Japan for the N5)

Had you bothered to look at my first post in this thread, you'd have seen it was quoting some of your first post, so I must have read it, mustn't I?

You made no reference to Resident Evil in your first post.

Which is just pure guesses on games that might/might not come out in the future (see my earlier post on that), and of no constructive use at all.

But the original post was pointless, the games as I've said before you great insider listed are games he is only guessing about, as he is nothing to do with the companies involved, two of the games listed are confirmed not to even exist (as I said, see my other post about the games) and dev kits have yet to be released, which you proved yourself as you stated Nintendo have only talked to EA so far, who undoubtably would be one of the N5's most important 3rd party publishers.
Apart from that, your one line of question in the post (one line out of 22) is the only useful thing in the message. Yes, Maverick, I agree:
> I'm sure many of us are wondering what the N5 will be like and what

But:

There is nothing "thought provoking" here. In fact the question originally asked has hardly been answered, the threads just turned into a argument. Well done.
I'm sure many of us are wondering what the N5 will be like and what games will be available - all rabid has done here is suggested some possibilities and started a thought-provoking thread.
I see no reason for hostility here.
Changing direction? hmm no, i have posted all that i know about the subject and answered the questions asked as best as i could... to save going round in circles i wanted to move onwards with my 2nd question which was indeed 'what games would you like to see?' as i said before i would like a Resident Evil game with the next gen graphics engine.
Its an acceptable question to ask in a Nintendo thread.

Ahh, your skill of arguing is brilliant.
I agree Dringo, the list is pointless, and then he tries to change the subject to:

Well if that's what you wanted to say, why not say it in the first place?!? Your answers:
A: No.
B: What games are we likely to see on the N5? Umm.. Dumbest question of the year! What type of games do you normally have?! Of course there'll be games of every genre.
Methinks a pathetic attempt to change the thread's direction.

I agree the list could be better but that is ONLY a list i have been told, it is not the definitive release list by any stretch of the imagination (there are some great games listed there incidentally)

Im sticking to what i said, time will tell how accurate i am.
> C: Factor 5 don't make Pilotwings just this time around.
I never mentioned Pilotwings anywhere so im confused what i need to say here lol.
> D: This post is pointless.
I dont think so.

Again i can only tell you what ive been told, how much you choose to want to believe is up to you, however EA and other developers HAVE been contacted by Nintendo regarding the N5 and told to get ready to program... how far developers have taken this is unknown but they have been spoken to by Nintendo.
B: If Rogue Squadron gets an X-box launch and it certainly isn't 99.9% certain (especially as there has been no announcement and Microsoft would have wanted it to damage Cube sales) it will be ported by another company and not Gamecube exclusive Factor 5.
C: Factor 5 don't make Pilotwings just this time around.
D: This post is pointless.
E: Nintendo have yet to release dev kits for the console, yet to release specs or even a slight hint of what will be involved. It is highly unlikely therefore EA magically know all this.

Why? It has many advantages... so many...

If nintendo and microsoft join I shall comit suicide or I shall turn to the playstation and sony.
The guy i know is very reliable and well informed in these matters, i didnt mention before cos this is the Nintendo section of the forum but when we spoke he actually said that all 3 of the major consoles had contacted EA over the past 6 months with similar messages regarding programming for the next gen consoles, i could easily lie here and name a few bogus titles but i see no point in deliberately misleading anyone as theres no gain for me in doing that.
The shortlist of games i origianlly posted were a list that he had heard were in development at this point in time for waht he was told to be for the N5... how this pans out will only be seen with time.
The main things i really want to focus on here are...
A: If EA have (and im told they have by a very good guy who ive known for ages) been contacted by Nintendo to begin programming for the N5 has Nintendo given any spec for the N5 to EA and other developers?
B: What games are we likely to see on the N5? and what would we like to see?
Thats about it really... the shortlist of games is purely what ive been told by the friends of a friend... how accurate that information is i cant say, but i see little reason to discount any of it just yet.
> I got the info from somone who i know very well and have done for

And how would your "informant" from *EA* know about this supposed game list even though none of them are EA games.
I've already proven how all but one are definatly just blind guesses.
Also, don't you think it's a bit early for Nintendo to have a definate launch game list? It's still at least two years too early.
