Few questions about broadband Xbox Live before I finally get it around Christmas time.

Which ISP do you use and how do you find it? Any ISPs that don't support Xbox Live?

Do you use a router? If so, how much was it and how do you find it?

Is it possible to have two accounts of Xbox Live? (one for me and one for my brother)

Is the Rainbow Six 3 headset version really worth the extra £10? Can it be used with other games?

What are the best games? What's Rainbow Six 3 like.

Thanks.

It can be used for other games and according to a few people it is more comfortable than the Live starter kit headset.

Thanks.

Does anyone know how the Rainbow Six 3 headset compares to the usual Xbox Live one, then? And can it be used for other games?

yeah, they do make money out of you if you continue with the 'free' accounts.

the charge is £40 per annum whether it is paid monthly or yearly, which is the same price as a starter kit, in which you get a £20 headset.

For the speed question: games will only be as fast as the slowest part of the connection, in this case the upload speed. So it won't make any difference if you are only using Live. Theoretically it would make a difference if you had a guest on your Live, or if you were using a PC for downloads or something at the same time. But you should still be OK.

As for the accounts: you can only set up one account from one Live starter kit. You do get a 2 month free trial with quite a few games at the moment, after which it starts charging monthly (£5, so grand total of £60 a year), although you can switch it to yearly (£40). But you wouldn't have a headset. So the best way to do it is to in fact buy two starter kits.

For two Xbox Live accounts on the same console, do you have to buy two starter packs?

Is there any difference between 512kbs/256kbs (download/upload) and 1mbs/256kbs when playing on Xbox Live?

Nice one. Would have got it myself but now it seems the best idea is to use a non-wireless router.

It gets delivered tomorrow, however there is now a review up for it and it does indeed have a built in ADSL modem. So althings going well I should be Live tomorrow afternoon.
