Yes, *another* pointless Mario Kart topic, but I'm curious about this one.

In previous Mario Kart games could you get a boost start after respawning from a crash? I just noticed yesterday on Double Dash that when Lakitu drops you, you can time turning on the acceleration to get a speed boost... annoying that I only found out after I've completed the 1-player mode, but meh.

So did Mario Kart 64/Super Mario Kart/Super Circuit have this?

In answer to your question, yeah I think it did have boost after a crash on 64 and SC :)

Oh yes the good old drop and boost technique, i've been using it at any chance I can in Double Dash because I noticed I can do it almost right away in multiplayer mode against my mates. Quite a good trick to catch up with those characters that hit you to take revenge.

YES! I totally agree Rage Wars is the best of the Turok games... so much fun, simple and quick too.

Loved it to death I did.

Grr, damn them games!

I picked up the classic Rage Wars (GENIUS GAME!) to play today and my eye level met F-Zero. I nearly picked it up out of sympathy.

Then I was normal and shot dinosaurs with shotguns.

Nah gaming is shelved... no 1080, no True Crime, no XIII and no Viewtiful Joe until my assignments are all done.

Leaving a damn cool Christmas!

VJ isn't so much a hard game, just need to perfect your technique. First time around i foudn it stupidly hard, but once finished it and mastered the bosses, re-playing it is simple.

I've beaten the first two chapters on V-Rated with no problems and I'm already up to the second last level on Kids, which took me about 3-hours. Ohhh, I love Viewtiful Joe so much. Play ittttt.
