It really is sublime. Everything is so nice and fast.

I started off playing a bit of RS3, where at first I got killed loads of times. To get a feel for it online most of the time I just played sharpshooter matches. Great game offline, great game online. I even managed to kill a few myself.

Then for the next couple of hours I played PGR2. Wow. It really is immense. The numerous cars and tracks mean that every race is radically different from the last. I drove all around the world in one night, all from the comfort of my own chair.

The only ever so slight issue I have with PGR2 on Live is that so many other users just get the Enzo and stick with it for every race. Thankfully however I created my own match and spent around 5 happy rounds in Edinburgh using nothing fancier than a Renault Spider. With a couple of decent opponents it was the best racing I'd had.

All in all, I regret being so tight about ordering a router to get it all up and running. Stuff ICS, a router is easier. It just really was superb.

I only have PGR2 and RS3 at the moment, but I hope to pick up a few more Live games soon. Hopefully see some of you on then.

Well the Gamecube and its one online game is the right way to go as regards studying and stuff.

I really want to go on live just now but I'm too shattered to manage it. It was simply amazing though. All I want is an Xbox Command and Conquer now...

a noble cause, one I am currently facing myself.

that's trying to concentrate on not failing.

That's why I'm not even considering getting an Xbox and Live (besides bring broke) - when I got my PC on ethernet I could play FPSs all day (and almost did), but it got me nowhere, so I'm now dedicating my cause to trying to get though the year without failing.

All they need is a power-sucker thing from the controllers and we're done for.

I got live as an afterthought - I bought RS3, had considered getting Live, but wasn't really that fussed. The two months free motivated me to have a crack, I already had everything set up, all I had to do was run a cable from our router to the xbox and set up the account.

After playing with no mike for one night, I went out and bought the starter pack the following day.

And what do I get in return? Insomnia, arthuritic thumbs and Bedsores.

thanks a lot microsoft .... :D

the disturbing thing is that when all the english people go to bed, I'll stay up and play the yanks all night. after all - it's always early on Live.

and when halo 2 is released .... well, let's not talk about that - my education, appearance, regular eating habits and even hygiene may take a beating.

Live is microsofts way of turning a human being into this :
