I started off playing a bit of RS3, where at first I got killed loads of times. To get a feel for it online most of the time I just played sharpshooter matches. Great game offline, great game online. I even managed to kill a few myself.
Then for the next couple of hours I played PGR2. Wow. It really is immense. The numerous cars and tracks mean that every race is radically different from the last. I drove all around the world in one night, all from the comfort of my own chair.
The only ever so slight issue I have with PGR2 on Live is that so many other users just get the Enzo and stick with it for every race. Thankfully however I created my own match and spent around 5 happy rounds in Edinburgh using nothing fancier than a Renault Spider. With a couple of decent opponents it was the best racing I'd had.
All in all, I regret being so tight about ordering a router to get it all up and running. Stuff ICS, a router is easier. It just really was superb.
I only have PGR2 and RS3 at the moment, but I hope to pick up a few more Live games soon. Hopefully see some of you on then.

true, I haven't done that yet though - like you say, you only notice it at the end of the night, and by then you're taking it off anyway.
a lazy boy recliner wouldn't go amiss. the real killer is eye-strain though. after 14 hours straight gaming your brain feels like it is frying in your head.
maybe one of those screen filters you get for monitors would be a good idea.
also, the live headset begins to hurt my ears after that long, I have to keep adjusting it to achieve a comfortable grip.
a small price to pay for the ultimate gaming experience.
with regard to command and conquer - I sincerely hope they carry on making those. I've not played Generals as my PC is poo, but I've always loved the series.

aww bless ;D
I doubt we'll see an RTS on the big black box.
still, you can use your PC for that.
