"What's happened to The No:"

Ladies, gentlemen, mammals, insects and fish, I have some sad news to deliver. One of our most respected members has left our midst.

Joby has left the building.

Joby, or er-no to those that don’t know him, felt he wanted to leave the forums because of comments from certain people he thought were his friends. Some people will know what these are, but I’m certainly not going to tell you. It’s not my place to drag up old issues, but those who said it know who they are. What’s said was said.

Now, admittedly I don’t know much about er-no, because I’ve only really been here 3 months. What I can say about him though is this: er-no is a really great guy, smart, funny and always there to lend a helping ear. He hasn’t been posting much lately, despite being voted 6th Notable, but when he does it’s always funny and worth reading. Even in the old days, when he was an annoying little get, everyone still loved him for what he was. He was The No.. er-no has become a bit of a friend to all of us, and is not scared to share some personal information, as anyone who has read his “My Way Out” post will know. He is a true regular, very much a part of SR. We’ll all be very sad to see him go. Many will try to persuade him to stay, but he seems committed.

Anyway, the er-no you know is no more. He has stopped posting on SR, despite what anyone says. I have been talking to him on MSN over the past week, and this is his final decision.

Goodbye er-no, we will all miss you. Come back soon.

TO EVERYONE ON THE FORUMS:

Please leave goodbyes for er-no, as he would like to read what you have to say. These can be personal, serious, funny or pleading, but er-no really is leaving so please, have some respect.

TO TONY: er-no has requested that you please don't remove his status as Notable. He says he will return one day, but only after a period away from SR.

LIGHTER NOTE: And when he returns, THE FORUM WILL KNOW ABOUT IT!

Er-no wouldn't leave without a good reason, and whatever his reason is, he has made it and left. I am sure he will be back, and I hope I will be proved right.

I consider er-no as the kind of person that keeps the FOG ticking and keeps thing interesting.

I wish you luck er-no, it's a big scary wide world out there. Sure you don't want to stay in the safe with us?

Lemmings don't commit suicide, it's just they're too stupid to realise you can't get to the sea by jumping off a cliff.

Only joking if your reading, I'll definetly miss ya. You were one of the first people who really accepted me on here, I remember spending hours talking about a paintball trip. You accepted me and made me feel welcome. I was really grateful, thanks mate. I hope you come to your senses and give me your, er, I mean come back soon. :o)

I didn't realise that my actions just then where going to cause such a bad response, I will take Goatboy's comment on board and learn something from this, that I don't know how some people are going to react to sick and twisted jokes.

Goatboy- if you read this I do apoligize, I didn't know that it was getting out of hand, I didn't know when to stop again and I pushed it too far, I apoligize for my actions, and I don't want to cause any more inconvienience to ANYONE.

That Goat fellow is angry. Suicide is a choice thing, I wonder why people do it because it's quite cruel and tends to have a negative effect on their friends and family. Remember that Lemmings made a joke out of suicide, they did a good job too. Take no offence, none was meant, it's just interesting.

You don't know how much I deserve that Goatboy, I have acted like such a jerk over the last hour or so, I wont be insulted by your comments, instead I'll take them onboard, and basically grow up! I apoligize for the inconvience, I think I'll go off line and consider what I have done

Quoting the Simpsons. It's because he says something that would be considered good and happy in a way that suggests it's a bad thing.

Speaking of the Simpsons, did anyone see that Hear'Say it's saturday thing? It was so bad but when I saw the repeat of the Simpsons on Monday of the spin off showcase it made me wonder. The variety hour bit was so much like the Hear'Say show it was hilarious. It took a funny joke and made it funnier, which I wouldn't have thought possible. It makes you wonder if they did it deliberately. That's a good episode of the simpsons, they should make a full epsiode variety time special because if they could make it funny in the 5 minutes it had imagine what they could do with 20 minutes.
