What version of IE are you using? I'm guessing you're using IE7?
I've just re-installed Windows 7 on my PC a couple of days ago and haven't logged into any websites using IE8 since, and it's definitely never asked me to store any passwords on any website.
We've just done a bit of searching, and it seems caching login details is a general problem with IE8

I'll do a bit of testing with a few browsers to see what's going on with this.
Yep - you are understanding me correctly.
IE offers to remember passwords for all the other sites I visit.
If you are not seeing this then you've got the option turned off.
The default IE setting is to ask to save credentials.
This can be done either by manually setting it in your Options or by checking the 'don't ask me again' option in the past to a dialogue box.

Brand new Freeola ADSL customer two weeks ago.
Signed in to their account on their PC. Tried clicking the 'remember me' option. Closed IE8, went to MyFreeola and had to manually login again.
Hope this helps.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] If I'm understanding you correctly, and IE7/8 doesn't remember MyFreeola passwords then this is something we will want to get resolved (edit: if possible).
Eccles mentioned his team have spent a bit of time on this already, so as it won't be a quick fix it won't be top of our 'To Do' list at the moment (we have quite a few important projects current on the go), but it'll be on there somewhere.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I had no idea as I'm a Firefox user.
In terms of the 'Remember Me' option in MyFreeola, are you sure this isn't 'forgetting' you because you have cleared your chache or deleted the required MyFreeola cookies from your browser? Let me know about this one, and depending on the answer we'll get this looked into as well.
Edit: On second thoughts Hmmm... I don't remember IE8 ever offering to save my password. I've just tested on a few of the sites I regularly log in to, and they haven't prompted me to save my password either. Are you able to do this for other sites? And if so, is this because you've tweaked the default security settings in IE?
Thanks.
I guess this isn't going to be an issue lots of others will raise - you have to be keen like me to bother!
All I can tell you is I support quite a number of Freeola ADSL customers and all but one use IE as their default browser.
So for them it would make life (checking their broadband usage etc.) much simpler if the login credentials were stored.
Perhaps one of the reasons some of the people that arrive here and only post the once may be down to this as well?
I've tried the MyFreeola profile option 'remember me' but that doesn't have any effect either.
Perhaps cjh or Garin can look at your php login page and offer some help...
[s]Hmmm...[/s] The ico format has now gone from the file selection - that makes sense.
I've put a copy of the original png (Macromedia Fireworks) here for you.
Actually I use FireFox for my InstantPro shenanigans as it remembers my MyFreeola password unlike IE!
Eccles was going to chase that old issue up on Monday... if he remembered ;¬)

Unfortunately we cannot support .ico files at this time with our favicon maker, it can only take GIF, JPG and PNG images at the moment and convert them into .ICO files. This is an issue that will be covered at a later date. If you try again now, you should not be able to even attempt to upload .ICO files to avoid confusion.

Would you be able to provide me with a link to the image you used to upload as your favicon? It could be something specifically do to with your file, it would be useful to test with. Also I presume you were using IE7 right?

The feedbacks always appreciated, thanks again.
I've just added mine.
FYI - When I went to add my normal ico format favicon it failed to upload giving the error "invalid file program" even though ico is in the accepted file format list.
I uploaded my original png artwork and this was accepted but the 'crop' page didn't display the image neither did the preview pages that followed?
I ignored that and saved and everything works fine :¬)
Hope the feedback's useful and thanks again for adding this.
