By stating my opinions of a game, and the reason I got rid of it, I have caused some people to come up with the crappest responses ever from a small minority (as expected) who think they can change my opinion after I have given the game a lot more than a fair trial.
This game is KOTOR, the topic, http://ukchatforums.reserve.co.uk /display_messages.php?threadid=90199&forumid=130 and the rest is self explanatory.
I didn't go into detail about all the things I hate about the game, though I think looking back, I should have. I just merely stated my opinion on the game and that I'm trading it in.
Apparently, I should take it all back, get my copy back and love the game purely because some critic gave it an award! WHOO!
If any of you do go there and post your opinion on it all, I don't want an anti-Xbox attack. I am pro X-box almost as much as I am GameCube - I just know utter toss when I've played it.

The thing is, the game isn't rubbish as a fact, just an opinion. Edgy got people stirred up when he wrote it like that. (Maverick)
A. As far as facts are concerned, it is neither good nor is it bad. It is a game.
All criticism is down to opinion based upon facts. And I believe the game to be crap. And my opinion IS fact for it is the factual reason I decided to get rid of my copy.
Q. Then why act surprised when you post a topic in the Xbox forum about how crap you think a much-loved game is? Wouldn't that be the normal response? What did you expect? (Mr. Snuggly)
A. I haven't acted suprised - infact, in brackets in my original post in this topic are the words "as expected".

A. Much better than KOTOR :D It has its flaws, the AI is VERY robotic and not really worth writing novels about, and there are many in-game glitches. But the fact that is has Missile Command as an unlockable game makes up for that. It ain't bad for £20.
Q. I think what Snuggly means is why make such a big deal out of it? People just disagreed with you and made valid counter-arguments. If you expected such a response, why are you shouting about it from the rooftops?
A. Because it amuses me. And you're just adding to the amusement by making such a big deal. I even expected things like this to happen, just like the old days of the forums, and I have to admit, I'm enjoying it.
Comment: I've no problem with the original post, but coming into a different forum and starting a thread titled "Don't cry, just because it won an award, it is still crap." makes Edgy look a bit of a pratt himself, regardless of however people defended the game. (Maverick)

In his original post he said it was crap. Full stop. People contended that with viable arguments. If he wanted somebody to change his opinion, then he should have written his post accordingly.
A. Ofcourse it is relevant. If it wasn't crap, I'd still own it now, would have full enjoyment when I play it, and wouldn't have even started this topic. I didn't want people to change my opinion, just wanted them to amuse me by trying, and it worked. Primarily, though, my point was to make my own opinions on the game known, which I did, and for some reason, a small minority of members are treating me like I'm the sworn enemy of the Ku Klux Klan (sp?).
Comment: Then someone comes along with, no you can't think it is crap because it won awards?
I didn't like Chicago... is that against some law because it won a few Oscars?
Or was that comment just so laughable that he thought he would share it with his fellow Nintendo fans on the forum? (Dringo)
A. Exactly - I considered it laughable, amusing, and that is the whole point in me starting this topic. Sure, I may look like a 'pratt' (nods at Maverick) but so do the power rangers, yet Bandai have made gains out of them, just like I have made a gain out of this. I am having lots of fun :D

But how does that change the FACT that he thinks it is crap?
I don't really want to make a big deal out of this but if Edgy goes around saying that KOTOR is crap as if it's a factual statement, then the fact that it has won awards and received massive critical acclaim is an ideal counter-argument.
No but it is funny... that's the point. Perhaps making a post about it was a bit overblown but the point is that argument was a poor argument. And thusly is funny.
