on diddy kony pilot for the GBA the tilt feature is used but i think the tilt feature was first on the PC. is that right?
It's the natural and new standard for controller design.
Nintendo tried out an analogue stick with the N64.
Sony copied it but looked at current games using an analogue stick and looked at what control set up would benifit them more.
And so we got the modern controller.
It's good that they're all the same because it means that games can easily be transported between systems making conversions easier.
It also means that when Capcom and Sega start making games where Xbox, GC and PS2 owners can battle each other, no console will have an unfair control advantage.
Wireless controllers ha i have some "acclaim" infa red controllers for my nes and they're the first wireless controllers to my knowledge but alot of third party hardware developers have taken up the idea but a wire is the fastest for data transfer and far more responsive.
The wirebird i think it's called for the gamecube uses a wavelength to transmit data but rumor has it Sony are working on a force feedback controller which obviously GT3 fully supports already, mmm never seen that on a console controller.
