Don't get the new Amped he says, get SSX Tricky!
What a tw@t.
Why is it people always compare a game on which copied which, and which came along first?
F-Zero and Wipeout are both racing games! They weren't the first ever racing games, so did they copy someone else? Yes and no! They are racing games, but they are 'futuristic' racing games.
Whenever a normal racing game is released is it compared to every other normal racing game, and then do people moan about which was the first normal racing game ever created? No!
So why do it with futuristic racing games?
If you look at Wipeout and F-Zero you can see that they are completely different types of futuristic racing games. Personally I couldn't tell you which I preferred as F-Zero is just a high speed race a thon, whereas Wipeout is more of a race/battle game. If you wanted to compare futuristic racing games, Wipeout/Extreme-G would be a reasonable comparison. But F-Zero/Wipeout isn't.
So you can't just say Wipeout is p00p cos it's nothing like F-Zero, as they are trying to be completely different types of futuristic racing game!
raar! It really annoys me sometimes when games are judge on games from long ago.
"This game is p00 because I played one just like it 10yrs ago on a Speccy."
mongs!

> Lets just call him a fat Ba$tard:)
You've obviously not seen him, he is a 6ft skinny pice of p***.
Quote funny at times though :)
And my two penneth, F-Zero was out 3 years beofre Wipeout and F-Zero is 10 times better.
Yet, F-Zero was already out on the SNES (back in 1992, or something...).
And I bet they sit there at 9:05 wondering why no-one ever watched their show...!
Just that f-zero isn't much of a wipeout clone if the f-zero series has been running longer!
It's been a little while, unless I missed something...
So it's hardly a choice between the two, without opting for a very dated game.
