It is Creative Assembly's "Rome : Total War" engine (or a modified version of it) that is used on that "Time Commanders" programme isn't it?

Well to it's credit, the animations look a hell of alot better than those 2D sprites in the Shogun and Medieval: Total War games.

Thought as much. Hmmm, nice gfx, but not sure about unit movement and animations.
