This idea is just an extension to the chat rooms and forums, all it is is a simple messaging system, like the forums.
if you want to contact someone but they're oofline and you havn't got their e-mail address you could simply click on their name or type they're name into a search box and send them a message, the recipient would recieve all their messages when they log onto SR and so on.
what do you think?

Hmmmm....it might work... you need a decent programmer though... so we'll have to forget Grix and Turbonutter... FM might be able to do it, but the hidden pro X-Box messages might get too annoying... :D

Yes - it's a nice idea, I agree.
I'm not sure how much programming it would take, but we are very pushed at present with our programming needs seemingly greater than our programming resources.
